The girls were hillarious with the snow people tonight, okay their probably called snowmen, but i'm trying to be politically correct here. Abby and Erica carried them all around the house tonight and even put them down the slide:) Their actually quite big for them to carry and Erica seemed to find them abit awkward, but she managed.

Toyota Christmas Party
As usual the Toyota Christmas Party was great, despite the fact I couldn't have my wine, boo hoo right. We didn't win anything again, which is the norm....but the food was great and we danced alot. We went with Christie and Chris, and saw Rebecca and Dave there and a bunch of other people. Have to say, there were alot of other pregnant mamma's there:)
Abby seemed abit confused when I got her up from her naps on the weekend, she must be wondering what the heck, your here one day but not the next lol. There doing really well though.
Sunday we went out for dinner at Montana's with Tonya, Rob and the kiddies while Rebecca and Elisabeth watched the girls, or should I say while the twins slept mostly, talk about easy money. Tonya ended up with the hat and horns on for her birthday and as usual didn't really want any of the extra attention.
Well, that's it in my world. Week #2, 14 more to go!

The Weekend is Almost Here
This week has gone by fast, I can't believe it's Thursday already! Guess being busy will do that eh. I think i'm really getting into a groove with working and playing with the babies from 4-8pm. I think they have really adjusted well to our new schedule as well, and being able to keep them at home with family has made that so much easier. I must say they get pretty excited when they see me walk in the door, Abby wants me all to herself though and tries to push Erica aside:) Usually we just sit and cuddle for abit and then they let me get up and move around, it really feels good to see the excitement on their faces. I'm hoping the next 4 -5 months go fast and then i'll be back at home on maternity leave again.
No pics again, as i'm posting from work:) Gotta take advantage of my breaks. At home I might not have the time to post.

My First Day Back To Work
Well, I have to say my first day back to work was alot better then when I went back after Emma. Must be the 1st child syndrome or something, but this time I know the girls will survive without me lol. Either that or i'm losing my motherly instinct :) nah...
My day actually went pretty fast and it was nice to have the girls come running to me, greeting me at the door, when I got home. I really expected Abby to be clingy last night, but she wasn't:) not like when we got back from the Bahamas.
Well, i'd like to add some pics like I usually do, but i'm at work (on a break wink wink).
Outta here...

Back To Life, Back To Reality...
We're back to our regular routine and the girls are good as gold again. Abby was very clingy the 1st day we were home and abit the second, but now she's just her regular stick near mommy's side self. Well, that will be until I go back to work tomorrow morning. Should be interesting, I haven't worked in almost 2 years....but hey for another year of maternity leave, I can do this 600 hours. Thank-god for family helping me out with the girls and coming to our house, I feel really good about that. I so don't feel like carting 2 babies out across town before putting in a good days work.
Hopefully I'll be able to maintain my blog and keep up with my digital scrapbooking.
Here's some pics of Abby and Erica after they got their bangs cut on Saturday, they needed it desperately. I'm not so sure about the bangs, but for now their out of their faces and I don't have to put their hair in pony's everyday, which they keep removing.

Bahamas Rocks
What an amazing time we had in the Bahamas, we'd definetely go back again!!! The unlimited food and alcohol (which I couldn't drink unfortunately) was amazing and endless. We shopped, laid out on the beach, and discovered Atlantis:) I would have to say 4 days was a perfect amount of time for our first trip away from the kids, I was loving every minute, but anxious to see the kids by Thursday. We met a great couple Chris and Sheri and spent the evenings with them, had dinner and went to Atlantis with, but still had lots of time on our own as well. They were really easy going people and we connected with them right away.

Getting Ready to Go To The Bahamas
Gosh, the last couple days have been really busy. Not only do I have to pack to go away myself, but I've gotta get the girls stuff ready and organized for my parents. I'll really need a holiday by the time we land in Bahamas tomorrow!! I'm so excited to go away, this will be Gerry's and my 1st official holiday together without the kids:) It's going to seem really weird i'm sure, just being able to relax and do whatever we want. We're so use to going by the kids schedules. I know Emma will be totally fine and I hope Abby and Erica are too, they love my mom and dad, but it's not me boo hoo. I'm sure by the end of the 4 days I'll be itching to get back home and see my little rascals.
Well, off to pack some more. I'll take lots of pictures to post when I get back.

Aiden and the Girls
Monique and Aiden came over for a playdate Monday, unfortunately Erica slept most of it and missed out, but Abby enjoyed the playdate. It's really neat to see toddlers interact, it's so different then when we're socialized. They don't have any concept of being embarrassed or understand that their being pushy or grabbing, it's pretty funny to watch. Too bad we couldn't stay that carefree throughout life.

Erica has totally taken off walking now and for Abby, it's old hat now. They both seem to have a fascination with having their shoes on, so they wear them most of the day inside:)
I've titled Erica "my bull in a china shop girl", she is sooo loving and cuddly, but man can she ever ram into you getting that hug or kiss! You really have to watch you don't bang heads. Abby on the otherhand, is very gentle and relaxed. Their such total opposites, it should be interesting to see if things stay that way as they get older.
Well, here's pics from Monday's playdate.

Happy Halloween
Halloween was a blast! Gerry and I took the twins out earlier to knock on our neighbours houses that we know. Everyone got a kick out of seeing the twins all dressed up:) Amanda and Justin came by with Kaylee and Chloe, so the girls had their little buddies to share the Halloween fun with.
Grandma and Grandpa showed up, as they always do each Halloween. Grandpa went out with Gerry and Emma, Megan, Alyssa and the neighbourhood gang. The kids had such a good time and we managed to get rid of most of our klodhoppers (we had 6 boxes of them so we loaded the tricker treaters up).
Here's pics from the night...
