Oh my gosh, I can't believe Emma's back to school on Tuesday!!! Where did the summer go??? that's just crazy. We went to the EX on Monday, that was alot of fun. My mom came over and watched the twins, as that place is just too crazy busy to bring the twins. Here's Gerry and Emma on the "Footsie Wootsie" getting a foot massage...
It was time to return the Tribute...so off car shopping we went. We had a really hard time finding one we liked or thought was practical....we kept debating new vs used, payments vs no-payments, but yet what about reliability, would we end up buying somone else's problems??? in the end, we ended up buying a car from the TriCity Auction in Kitchener. Get this, for only $2100.00 and it's in great shape, a few little dings, but nothing bad. It's a 1999, but only has 97,000 kms. Check it out

Abby thinks she's taking Daddy for a ride

Connor's really growing, I had to start him on pablum early as he's such a big eater. He loves the stuff and seems to digest it really well. Here's some recent pics of him as well.

And last but not least, here is Gerry enjoying his last two weeks off with two of his girls and Connor behind them...

Wow, it's been a while since I last posted. Guess that happens with 4 kids and being out so much in the summer months. I can't believe the summer is almost over and Gerry is going back to work next month...oh gosh, it's been so nice having him at home, but hey the reality is someone has to work right lol. Hopefully it won't be too much of an adjustment for both of us and the kids. I'm sure they've gotten so use to having daddy around.

We're planning on going to the Ex next week and Emma has two more day trips to the Zehrs day programs. Gosh they do so much for the kids there and they just love it there. I'm hoping to make it to Canada's Wonderland again to bring the twins as well, but i'm not sure we're going to be able to fit everything in. We'll just have to see how things go.

Emma is going to the new school they built in the neighbourhood, we're going to go check it out at their open house next week. She'll still take the bus though, as it's still too far to walk without them being able to get across the pond. All in good time I guess.

Well, off to bed. Erica has a hearing test tomorrow morning, so i've gotta be up and moving early.

Erica's EEG

Well today went alot better then I was expecting, in regards to Erica's EEG test. Gerry and I tried to bring things that would keep her occupied and comforted, like some favourite books, a blankie and our portable dvd player with a Dora dvd. Only one of us was aloud to go in the room as we had Connor, so we both felt it was best that Gerry went in, as he is better at getting her to co-operate.

I could hear her outside the door, which was abit hard on the heart, but she only cried when they put the 23 electrode things on her head and when they took them off (which weren't painful, but she doesn't like being poked and prodded). Other than that it was just the occasional whine and Gerry would distract her and get her refocused on her Dora dvd. I guess we'll find out the results when the doctor gets them, hopefully next week.

Other then that, today was a pretty low key day. I told myself I wouldn't stay up to late tonight as I was tired from last nights big scrapbooking affair. Here are a few pages I squeezed in.

Do you ever find that some days your more creative then others? I do, and as a result, I got alot of scrapbooking pages done tonight. I might pay for this in the morning, as i've stayed up too late, but it'll be worth it down the road:)

Without further a-do, here they are

Centreville Island with the Twins and Connor

After going to Centreville Island with Emma and seeing what was there, we decided the twins would have a great time there. It was their first time ever going on an amusement ride so I was abit sceptical on how things would go. Erica immediately took to the idea of rides, taking on the bumblebee ride with our friends son Michael, while Abby needed to watch her little sister's experience first before making up her mind. Poor Abby cried when she saw how much fun Erica was having and kept saying "Abby too, Abby too". They didn't like the idea of the ride ending, but quickly caught on that we'd go on another one after peeling them off a few rides lol. It was so exciting watching how excited they got.

Here's some pics of them on some of the rides. I'd like to take the to Canada's Wonderland next, they'd love Hanna Barbara land
