To those that like to read my blog, i've decided that I just don't have the time to post. Between my digital scrapbooking and time on Facebook, I just simply can't keep up. Feel free to add me to Facebook though:)
Take care,

Toyota's Kids Christmas Party
Well now that Halloween is done, we're onto Christmas. Gerry and I took the kids to Toyota's Kids Christmas Party yesterday. The kids had a blast!!! There was soo much to do:) They had ice skating (which we obviously didn't do with 3 of them so young), a carnival, crafts, face painting, a whole gym of inflatables to bounce on and lots of food. I have to say it was the best party yet, as the line ups were short with so many different activities going on.

Cambridge Centre Halloween Parade
Mommy-a-go had a kids Halloween Parade organized at the Cambridge Centre on Thursday October 30th. My mom and I decided to take the kids and met Tammy there:) Wow, it was crazy busy, but the kids really enjoyed it. The twins actually caught on to the whole trick-or-treat thing and didn't stop to try to eat each candy as it was put in their bags after the first few stores. They had storytime and face painting afterwards, but by that point the my mom and I and the kids were pooched.

Last week was great with Gerry off! We managed to get alot done around the house and I finished my first week on weight watchers and lost 2lbs....I know that doesn't sound like alot, but considering I had birthday cake on my first day (hey it was my birthday, how couldn't I??), I was pretty happy. I figure even if I stayed at 2lbs a week, that's 8lbs a month, so in a few months, I'll be looking like my old self, if I can even remember what she looked like haha. The house is stocked with good healthy foods and I've pre-made meals, so I don't have any excuses to fall off the wagon.

The last week was a good week, but I have to say the last 24 hours have been the most productive for me. I've struggled with trying to keep the main floor of my house tidy and not looking too cluttered, which is very hard with the kids. Finally, I was able to talk Gerry into selling his pool table, so I could make the basement into a comfortable and roomy playland basically.
Part of me feels abit bad about him parting with his table, but with with 4 kids, I really need the space downstairs. To ease this transition for him, I told him that he could have the area that was first the playroom, to make into a workout room, as I know he's always wanted that and it takes up alot less space.
Emma and I brought everything down and today after the movers picked up his table. I finally feel like i've got the house in order, finally. I think this shall keep the kids busy and entertained. They can even ride on their ride on toys.
Here's some pics of the main area, I have to tidy the other half still.

The Pumpkin Patch
Sunday was the perfect day to to go to the pumpkin patch. It was so nice and sunny out, so the kids wouldn't be cold. Emma was very excited about going, as she remembers going every year, whereas Abby and Erica didn't have a clue, but Abby kept saying Pumpin Pac, Pumpin Pac while we were getting ready to leave.
The kids all had a blast, Connor fell asleep during the corn maze walk as it took alot longer without the girls in a wagon or stroller this time:) Ya, don't think we'll make that mistake again. Gerry and I were praying that each turn was going to lead to the end.
I took Connor for his 2nd set of pictures today. Wow, it was the easy photoshoot ever. Connor is such a ham smiling away so easily. I can't wait to share all the pics when I get them back October 22nd.

Today was great, made $2000 off of Gerry's latest car buy and got great deals on clothes for the girls at Children's Place (Connor has way too many, so poor guy got left out). I just love Children's Place and have pretty much figure out how long to wait until things go on sale. Today everything was 30% off already reduced prices, talk about big savings. I want to bring Emma back to check out some more things, but we were too busy tonight with her swimming lessons.
Gerry had a few days off this week, the extra help and company was really nice. This will definetely feel like a short week. Abby and Erica really enjoyed preschool again today....Erica gets so excited when she see's the building. The teachers say she is quite the singer, she loves singing songs and is usually right up in the teachers face:) She walks into her classroom like she owns the place and Abby follows behind her. It's pretty cute to see.
Well, time to watch the boobtube, so ta-ta for now.

Sadie has Arrived
My sister finally went into labor last Thursday, the day before she was going to be induced. Sadie was born Friday September 26th at 1:14am, weighing 8lbs1oz and she was 21.5 inches long. I can't believe how much dark brown hair she has, she looks just like her big sister Megan did at birth, except with more hair. Poor Alyssa seemed abit jealous that she didn't look like her, but she loves her just the same.

Abby & Erica Start Preschool
Last Wednesday Abby and Erica started preschool!! The only go Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30, but I think it's really good for them and good for me lol. I was abit nervous with how the girls would be when I left and asked the teacher if I should tell them I was leaving? and she said absolutely. I told them Mommy was going but would be back soon and they just looked at me and said "bye bye mommy"...yah as you can see we have real attachment issues lol. I'm them having each other there and all the playgroups I go to made a big difference.
My friend Tammy signed her daughter Naomi up as well, she's in the middle of the pic with the three of them. We dropped the kids off and went shopping. It was so weird just having our little ones in their strollers, her other daughter is 4 weeks older then Connor. Not sure what's planned for this week, perhaps maybe some R&R back at home with our little ones. Can't shop every week right??
Today has been a great day. I tried putting Abby and Erica together for naptime and they went to sleep right away. Lately I've been putting Abby in Emma's bed, but she seems to get into her stuff sometimes. I wonder if the novelty of sharing a room has worn off as they didn't make a peep. Regardless, i'm happy! Now I just have to get Connor to sleep in his room during the day instead of his swing...as it only goes up to 25lbs. I'm thinking of putting a radio in his room, maybe he is so use to the noise down here that it's too quite up there. Time will tell.

What a very productive weekend!! We managed to power wash all the outdoor toys and bring them downstairs to the basement. The kids will still have alot of fun playing in the playhouse, on the slide and stuff....just because summer ends...the summer toys don't have too. As well, I managed to sell off all my maternity clothes on kijiji, as we're definetely not having anymore kids with us both "fixed" so to speak:)
Connor is getting soo big now, in a good healthy way. He's 18lbs and a solid little man. I love the big smile he gives me when I look over at him from afar and smile, his whole face just lights up. It's nice to see someone get that excited by your presence. Abby and Erica are understanding more and more each day and have fell into a great bedtime rountine, sleeping in the same room, in their big girl beds. Tonight Erica tried to climb in with Abby, but we got her back into her bed before she managed to wake Abby up. If she just climbed in and went to sleep with her, I would of left her, but she wants to climb in with her to horse around. Abby was too pooped to care.
Gerry's workings days the next two weeks, so life should be pretty good and normal. My family and Rebecca have been a great help when Gerry works nights. Emma and I even managed to sneak out for some big girl shopping Friday night. Emma really enjoyed it and it felt really good to be able to walk around with her and Connor in his stroller sleeping. Hopefully I'll be able to leave him home with my family soon, but for now he's still a big momma's suck.
