Oh Their Still Sick.....

Okay, it really really sucks having twins sick and being pregnant. Last night was a rough night with Erica up from 2-4:30am and Gerry working nights. I've been pretty lucky with the girls so far and haven't had too many rough nights, but this one sure made up for it.

I started to see Erica finally start to turn for the better today, but she's still got a fair way to go from her bubbly independent self. I'm so not use to her wanting to be up cuddling so much (although I must admit part of me really likes all the extra cuddles). I just wish I could get her eating more then abit of applesauce and yogurt, but anytime I try to push her she throws up and she loses everything she eats so.....little is better then none. Abby's only half as sick, as usual, thank-god, but she has her clingy moments.

Anyway, hopefully i'll have my happy-go-lucky babies back soon and life will return to normal. Well as normal as it's going to get in the Godin home lol.

3d/4d Ultrasound today.

Today I went for my other 3d/4d ultrasound, oh it's amazing how much Connor has grown over the last 2 months. It was so neat to see him moving all over, trying to get his fingers in his mouth. Oh having twins sick really sucks, but hey what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right. Gerry and I ended up taking Erica to the hospital as she was really bad. She was coughing/gagging and throwing up from just coughing. The poor thing, she was so exhausted and desperately needed to stop coughing so she could sleep. The nurses and doctor were great there, they gave her an oral steroid and a mask treatment to help her out until her inhalers kick in.

I have to say the emerg has come along way...I was so surprised to see they have a tv in each room where your assessed and treated. That is an awesome idea to help pass the time. Erica watched tree house inbetween many naps and we watched tv when she was sleeping. Way to go to whoever came up with that idea.

Erica was whining off and on last night, so I ended up bringing her into bed with Emma and I (Gerry's working nights ughh). I could of killed Zack, as he kept trying to get up inbetween all of us, HELLO 3 in a queen size bed is enough you fur baby. Poor dog, I think I was abit rough with him, nugging him out of the way, but my patients run thin at 2am. Hopefully the girls will start to feel better today:)

Emma and I went looking for a double jogging stroller for the girls and came home with a ball tent....now how does that work haha. Well the stroller isn't in till next week, so we thought we'd look around for something fun. Emma got crafts and the twins got a ball pit. We got home and realized that the picture on the box had way more then the 25 balls we had so Gerry and Emma went back to Toys R Us to buy another 100, now the kiddies are loving it.

Our Latest Trip to the Mall

Well after one of my usual trips to Children's Place (god i love that store). I decided to take the kiddies on a ride. Emma wanted in on the ride so she squeezed in, in the back. Oh and someone else too, but you'll have to watch the video to see the surprise rider haha

Wow, this week's been a busy week. We keep debating moving and different houses, god i'm so all over the map with the whole thing. I did manage to get the girls to another playgroup last Friday though

It's Saturday and the sun is shining!! God I can't wait till spring comes so it not only looks nice outside, but it's warm out. With 19 month old twins I'm pretty stuck in the house until it warms up. Going to the mall hasn't been so much fun with them lately, but the playdates have been a good way to get out.

This week is going by fast, I can't believe it's Wednesday tomorrow already. Erica has really picked up on her language skills over the last week! It's funny how she's always a couple weeks behind Abby, it's just like clockwork. She's been really funny lately as well. If the phone rings she jumps up looking for it, if a cartoon ends she starts racing for the remote to get another show on.

Wow, where do the weekends go? Even a long weekend seems to by quickly lately. Oh well, back to work tomorrow to get another week in.

I took the girls to the community centre, on my day off, Friday and they really enjoyed the playgroup. I was abit worried at first, as there were only about 3 other people there, but people started filling in shortly thereafter. They had lots of activities for the girls, ride on toys to ride all over the huge gym...and stations set up with various climbing toys, tents and toys. We'll definetely have to go back there next week. Best of all, it was only a $1/child, you can't beat that.

Off to bed now, my creativity has zapped my energy.

Well i'm on a roll here, another 3 pages done!! You never know, I just might be able to get a book or two printed up before Connor gets here. My inspiration really seems to come in spurts, so i've gotta go with the flow, while it's flowing lol.

Finally I had time to scrapbook!! It's not something you can just sit down and rush through or else you totally lose all creativity and it becomes more of a chore then a hobby. Here's my latest pages, I really have to get a book printed soon...

Back To Funworx

Thought we'd start the week off with a playday back at Funworx, the girls are getting pretty comfortable there as they've been there a few times now. Emma and Megan came this time and enjoyed playing with Abby and Erica when they weren't in the bigger areas. Elisabeth came with us too, which was a big help!! Gave me a chance to sit back more and relax abit.

Well despite the weather watch, I was still able to get my hair done on Friday:) I was pretty happy about that as I was starting to look like root city!

Abby's had her hands in her mouth alot as she has molars coming in....poor girl, I've resorted to giving her her soother a few times, but really don't want that to become habit again. She only gets it at bedtime and naptime. Luckily her molars have disrupted her sleep or i'd really be in trouble.

I'm really getting tired of winter...I so want to get outside with the girls and want some longer daylight hours....oh why can't we live somewhere else...
